安裝清洗人員先將管道上下段拆除，即空降式方法，主要用于清洗50厘米以上的垂直煙道。將繩固定在煙道上處，系好帶，安裝清洗人員自上而下清洗垂直煙道內的油污。這種方法危險性較大，但是卻更，更堅韌，清洗效果更好。由于垂直煙道一般積油會較少，所以每年清洗一次即可。

安裝清洗人員選用無焰專用工具在管道的一側或多側鉆孔，即開孔方式。對于無法人工進入且難以拆除的排煙管，請選擇此方法。根據現場情況確定鉆孔的大小、間距和數量，油污后恢復管道密封。
